What began as Elizabeth Walker Coaching, an executive coaching practice providing 1:1 coaching to corporate clients, evolved into a broader leadership development practice supporting leaders, teams, and organizations through coaching, facilitation, and strategy support. Early on, it became clear that the work was most impactful when approached at the organizational level—creating real partnerships and outcomes that last.
The business continued to evolve through a close collaboration with Buller Empowerment (BE), another coaching and facilitation organization, and Sara O’Brien, a trusted coaching partner, which deepened over five years through Energy Leadership™ coaching and facilitation grounded in complementary experience, shared values, and a common approach to leadership growth. In 2026, this long-standing collaboration evolved into a strategic partnership, bringing the work of two coaching organizations together under a new brand: Empowered Leadership Partners. EL Partners was created to support leaders, teams, and organizations with greater depth, consistency, and scale.
Today, Empowered Leadership Partners represents the combined strengths of these foundations, bringing together a team of experienced coaches and facilitators who partner with organizations to develop high-potential leaders, strengthen teams, and build sustainable leadership capability with consistency, trust, and real-world expertise.

Liz Walker
Founder, Principal Executive Leadership Coach
Liz brings extensive leadership, coaching, and HR experience to her work with organizations across size and industry. She uses her experience from over a decade of in-house corporate HR leadership roles to partner strategically with organizations Executives and Leadership teams to build a plan support their organization to set them up to achieve the results they desire. As an HR leader Liz was known as a trusted advisor to her internal clients, and she strives to provide the same level of partnership now in her own business.
As a coach and facilitator, Liz works with leaders to strengthen self-awareness, improve communication, and navigate complex challenges with intention and resilience. She is passionate about creating space for leaders to think differently, tap into their potential, and develop sustainable practices that support both individual and organizational growth.
Liz is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and an Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). She is certified in the Leadership Circle Profile 360 Assessment, utilizes The Working Genius, CliftonStrengths, and holds a BA in Psychology and Business from Quinnipiac University.
Sara O’Brien
Senior Executive Leadership Coach
Sara brings a unique combination of marketing leadership experience and coaching expertise to her work with leaders and teams. With more than 15 years in fast-paced marketing and advertising environments, she has built her career partnering with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and clients where communication, influence, and human behavior are critical to driving results. She partners with organizations to help leaders strengthen how they think, communicate, and lead under pressure.
As a leadership coach and facilitator, Sara is known for her intuitive yet structured approach, quickly identifying patterns in how leaders think, react, and show up. She works with leaders and teams to build awareness, strengthen communication, and shift out of reactive patterns into more intentional and effective leadership. Her work helps leaders improve trust, navigate complexity, and lead with greater clarity and impact.
Sara is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and an Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). She is a DISC certified practitioner and holds a MA in Marketing from Emerson College and a BA from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

With more than 20 years of experience across corporate marketing, business operations, and leadership development, she partners with organizations to help leaders strengthen engagement, improve team effectiveness, and lead with greater clarity and confidence.
As an Energy Leadership™ coach, Cheryl works closely with leaders and teams to build self-awareness, strengthen communication, and foster more productive and collaborative work environments. She is particularly passionate about helping leaders lead with intention, navigate challenges with resilience, and create sustainable change that benefits both individuals and organizations.
Cheryl is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). She holds a BA in Psychology and Marketing from Binghamton University and brings a strong foundation in both human behavior and business strategy to every engagement.
Ellen Buller
Buller Empowerment, Energy Leadership Coach
Ellen is a seasoned Energy Leadership™ coach who partners with organizations to help leaders and teams reach their highest potential and effectiveness. With a passion for developing engaged leaders, she creates results-driven partnerships that consistently exceed expectations. Her dynamic facilitation style, combined with coaching and corporate HR expertise, drives transformative leadership and team development experiences.
Before transitioning fully into coaching and facilitation, Ellen spent 20 years in a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical organization, gaining deep experience in leadership, human resources, and organizational development. She leverages this experience to help leaders navigate transitions, strengthen teams, and build sustainable leadership capability across organizations.
Ellen is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and an Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). She is also a certified MBTI practitioner and experienced team facilitator and mentor coach. Ellen holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and a BA in Psychology from the University at Albany.
